1Cor.10:21- "Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils." In life we are either an optimist or a pessimist, in the light or in the dark, helping someone or hurting someone, awake or asleep, living for God or dying for Satan.
Every breath we take is one breath closer to our death OR it is one more breath that we can take for God. Every morning we wake up it can be one more day to waste your time OR another glorious day to serve our Maker. Every person we come into contact with can be one soul we neglect OR one soul we strive to bring to Jesus. What is your outlook on life?
You may not know this but if you are not saved, you are lost. Think about that... If you don't know Jesus as your personal savior, you are serving Satan. Life is not about making money, holding a high social status, getting a promotion, marrying your dream guy/girl, or winning the science fair. Life is given to us to make a choice, and we will choose to be a blessing or a cursing to God. You are either busy doing God's work or busy for the devil. Have you ever considered how you spend your time, what choices you are making now and how they are impacting your future?
1Cor.15:58- "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord." The Bible says, "always abounding in the work of the Lord". The word abounding is to be in abundance of or to be full of. Basically, we should be full of work to do for God, full of a zeal and passion for the work of the Lord! I want to be busy doing God's work, not busy for the devil.
By the choices we make, our futures are clear: 1. Future for those who choose God: Rev.22:5- "And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever." 2. Future for those who remain in sin: Rev.20:15- "And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."
God, please help us to make the right choice while there is time!
