"Who is that girl? What is her name? The one who smiles at you even though she's in so much pain. She looks happy on the outside, but on the inside she's falling apart. She's hiding all her misery behind that lovely smile. She smiles so they won't see her pain. She doesn't want them hurt. She does everything for others and gets nothing in return. Blow after blow, and hit after hit...still she stands tall and true...takes the blows and tucks away the pain...locks up the misery and replaces it with a smile. A smile that hides everything. a smile that brightens your day...fighting for a goal...trying to find a way...to brighten everyone's day, even if she can't her own. Who will finally come to 'her' rescue, instead of her coming to ours. Someone needs to help her. Someone needs to care. She can't take this pain much longer. The smile is fading away...misery won't hide any longer. It's breaking loose. It's taking control. It's setting itself free...destroying life, clouding thoughts, and demolishing dreams...sending tears cascading down her face. She cries out in agony. Someone needs to help her. Someone needs to care. She can't take this pain much longer. She's living her life in despair. She falls into an altar...pleads, begs, and prays...suddenly all those chains are broken, her burdens lifted...all pain has gone away. Someone came and helped her. Someone heard her cry. This someone's name is Jesus...for 'us' he bled and died. Now her smile hides nothing. Only truth and happiness appear. She gave her life to Jesus. Now he's with her everywhere."

Some people never realize that if they would give their lives to the Lord, they would never be the same; many just go on hiding behind a front, not knowing who to turn to. IF we have JESUS, we can have true joy that can only come from Him, no matter what we face in life...HE makes all the difference...2 Corinthians 4:6-9, "For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;" With Jesus we can face everything with JOY! Do you remember the day that Jesus broke the chains of bondage for you...won't you share that with someone today?
