Not only should we pledge our allegiance to the flag of the United States of America or whatever country we are from, but we should mainly focus on the priority of the One who created this land. We should be true to our nation, yes, but we must make sure that we aren't putting the land above the landmaker.
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Deuteronomy 14:[2] for thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.
God, let us be thankful for whatever nation we are in and whatever land we live on; however, let us mostly be thankful that we know the creator of every land and every nation. Amen.
